Our annual open board meeting (usually held the first Sunday of the New Year) had to be postponed, but it now has been re-scheduled and is set for Sunday, Feb. 6, after the regular sitting. We hope we will be able to enjoy the traditional potluck luncheon that day too.
We’ll keep our fingers crossed that Omicron cases will continue to fall and gathering together will be a low risk event.
That consideration also applies to our current intention to have a three-day retreat the weekend of Feb. 25-27. We hope Roshi Lawson Sachter will come to our center and lead the retreat in person, but know he will participate virtually at least. Details will follow as they evolve.
At any rate, in these uncertain times, this can remain unchanged: our commitment to our practice and to the three treasures, the Buddha, the Dharma and the Sangha.
