1 DAY RETREAT; May 5th

We will have our next All Day Sitting on May 5th (Saturday). We start at 8:00 AM and end at 4:00 PM. The day includes a Dharma talk and Daisan and, of course, rounds of zazen. I will be sending out a specific schedule soon. We recommend a donation of $10 for members and $15 for non-members. I do need to know your intent as I have to plan the work schedule for the work period. So let me know as soon as you know you plan to come.
Also, the Unity Church across from our property on Nursery road is having a Vesak celebration (Celebration of the Buddha’s birthday) starting about 4:45pm and some of us will participate with chanting the Kanzeon and the Heart Sutra. You are invited to join our chanting group or just participate in the celebration. They will offer a vegetarian meal following the celebration. Let me know if you need additional information.
